Who is MojoDaddy?

MojoDaddy (Patrick), founder of The Dynamic Dominance Academy, brings together a lifetime of experience in BDSM and martial arts to his role as a lifestyle educator.  He is a charismatic and passionate instructor. Participants leave his workshops infused with self-empowerment.

In combining martial art forms Tai Jutsu Kenpo, Aikido and Systema, MojoDaddy created Elegant Pain Compliance, a sophisticated style of D/s play for Lady Dommes.  He also uses training from these three forms in classes designed to teach women modern self-defense techniques for sexual situations that become non consensual.  MojoDaddy draws on his personal life experiences and his strong spiritual path for classes such as Finding Your ONE: A Submissive’s Guide to Finding a Loving Dominant.

MojoDaddy’s formal exposure to BDSM started at age 19 while in Europe on active duty as an Army Paratrooper specializing in mountain warfare.

At the conclusion of his military service MojoDaddy started training under the founders of Tai Jutsu Kenpo, an integrated style of martial arts earning hi Shodan in 1997.  After studying Aikido for a while (attaining Sankyu ranking in 2000) he took up Systema, a Russian style of fighting/self-defense, his current passion.

MojoDaddy has taught workshops throughout the United States and Canada, including Floating World, TES Fest, Purple Passion, Attitudes and more.  He is a member of TES, Black Rose & NCSF and is a graduate of Master Taino’s Master’s Academy.  Currently MojoDaddy is broadening the scope of classes and workshops offered through The Academy for Dynamic Dominance.

So What’s with the Beret?

I became a paratrooper to continue the tradition of elite military service started by my Father. I first wore a maroon beret in 1985 when I was a paratrooper on active duty in Italy. I retired my beret for many years after I completed my active duty service.

My former partner pleaded with me to wear it again when she found an old Army photo of me in my beret. She thought it looked sexy and she knew how proud I was of my military service.

I wear it in honor of my service and for what the airborne beret stands for.

It has become a signature item like the black-rimmed eyeglasses of Clark Kent and the S logo of Superman. I get different reactions from people. Some women and a lot of gay men find it very sexy. I am almost forced to have it on at all times when at events.
